Aquaphor

Aquaphor water filtration for the UAE: reverse osmosis systems, water softeners and genuine replacement cartridges engineered to deliver clean, scale-free water for cafes, offices and homes. Better water, better coffee, longer machine life — and in a country with water this hard, that last point is the one that saves money.

Choosing an Aquaphor system

Home and small kitchen. The Crystal SOFT is a compact under-sink filter that combines a universal carbon block with a special ion-exchange fibre, so it purifies and softens moderately hard water in one unit. It is the right choice if you want better-tasting water at the tap and less scale in the kettle and the espresso machine, without plumbing in a full RO system. Its consumable is the KHC softening cartridge, supplied as a 2-pack.

Cafes, restaurants and offices. The APRO range is commercial reverse osmosis. The APRO 100 PRO runs multi-stage filtration that relieves the water of contaminants, chlorine and excess hardness and then re-balances it, so what reaches the group head is clean and consistent rather than simply stripped. The APRO 100 PRO SST is the same system with a stainless steel storage tank for hygienic, taint-free storage. The APRO-NP-120 is the higher-capacity model, built for greater throughput when a bar is busy all day.

A 20L storage water tank is available separately, either as extra reserve during peak demand or as a replacement for an existing APRO system.

Which cartridge fits which system

All the cartridges here are genuine Aquaphor parts, and they are not interchangeable across the ranges:

• APRO 100 PRO and 100 PRO SST — PP5 EFG 112/250 sediment pre-filter (5 micron, catches sand and rust before the carbon and membrane stages) and Carbon B510-12 activated carbon block.
• APRO NP 80 and NP 120 — Carbon B520-Pro high-capacity carbon block and K7B fine carbon polishing cartridge.
• Both APRO families — ULP3213-1000 ultra-low-pressure RO membrane, the stage that actually removes dissolved salts and hardness.
• Crystal SOFT — KHC softening cartridge 2-pack.

Replace on schedule rather than on symptoms. A membrane that has been left too long costs more than the cartridges that would have protected it.
